Exceptional Service - Highly Recommend
After doing an extensive research for companies and getting several quotes, there was no comparison. Batterbee was the company for the job. From initial presentation from Charles to the installation and walkthrough, Batterbee provided exceptional service. They kept me informed about the status of supplies being ordered. When shingles arrived, the installation was completed in 1 day. NO shingles sitting on top of the roof or trailer bin sitting in the driveway for days. When they left, you would not even know they had been there, except for the beautiful new roof. The documentation of all the work being completed before, during and after was exceptional. My salesperson Charles took the time to research the unique items of the job and confirming with the manufacturer how the warranty would be affected. He was the only salesperson I talked to that I felt really invested himself to researching my job. After signing a contract, the communication from the office was good. They kept me informed on the status of my job at regular intervals. Once the job started the job supervisor Ivan did an excellent job overseeing everything. They definitely came across a few surprises during the job, but they handled them with utmost professionalism. They never complained when they hit difficult areas or had to do extra work to fix something. Even if they needed to go get additional tools or materials, they just made it happen. This was really nice. I cannot tell you how many times I have had contractors complain that the job was not easy. Not these guys. During the job they did have one unfortunate thing happen that was an error on their part. However, when I informed them of the problem, they were quick to get it resolved to my satisfaction. Both Ivan and his supervisor did not make any excuses, they just did the right thing. I really appreciate that. Batterbee made the roof replacement process as good as I can expect it to be. Our experience communicating with our sales agent, Charles, and through the completion of our new roof with Josh we couldn't be happier. Charles explained everything and Josh made sure everything was done correctly and completely. I watched the entire team tear off the old roof, replace damaged wood, found a defect in one of our solar tubes (which was easily replaced, at an added expense, it was way too old to contact the original installer for a replacement), re-covered with waterproof sheeting, valleys filled with peel n stick underlayment and the new shingles going on. I didn't watch the clean-up but boy did they do a great job as the site was a bit messy. Every step along the way was as discussed by Charles. I just did not like phoning the main office - had to listen to all of the various "press for" along with long waits before I spoke to a real person. Can't wait for the rain, and more rain to prove the incredible workmanship received. Thank You !!!

Met with Charles Carson to discuss roof replacement. Charles did a fantastic job explaining my options for selecting a new roof. He took me outside and showed my house on his phone with the roof selections I chose. Made the decision very easy after seeing the house with the roof I selected. Explained the process from start to finish. My neighbor had used Batterbee Roofing and they were extremely pleased with the professionalism and performance to get the job done. One day everything was stripped and the second day plywood was replaced and shingles installed. Manny Guiterez was the job site foreman. He kept me informed of what was being done as the job progressed and answered any questions I had. I would recommend Batterbee Rooofing to anyone needing a new or roofing replacement.

Roofing and gutter check
We called on Monday 1/16 and made an appointment for our roof and gutters to be checked. The appointment was made for the next day on 1/17. Being new to having a stucco home we were very concerned because the walls inside our lanai were soaking wet. We were concerned our roof was leaking. Charles went on our roof and inside our attic to check. He also checked our gutters for any possible leaks. He took his time and thoroughly checked everything. He assured us that because of the weather and humidity we were having that it was condensation. He was on time, professional and put our minds at ease. I highly recommend Batterbee roofing. We would definitely call them again if the need arises.

Great presentation and a good roof
Our team member took the time to explain what gets done on the roof and the different roofing materials. Then when it came time for installation is was all very professional and they were done within one day (smaller home in the Villages). They are also a well established supplier in the Villages and that gave us a measure of comfort knowing their stability and accessibility should we need anything.

After researching several roofing companies, I chose Batterbee because of their excellent reputation around the Villages. From the office staff to Charles Carson the sales manager who did the roof quote, they kept me informed throughout the process. they were excellent. My Field Supervisor Aaron Libruk was Excellent!!! He was on the property throughout the installation to answer all my questions and oversee and control the roof installation. He also personally installed 6 solar tubes. He was extremely careful inside the house not to damage anything and keep the debris minimal. He is a completely honest and a true professional. The kind people choosing a roofing company would want working on their house, like it was their own. Lastly , Crew Leader Joel Funes and his crew were excellent too. From putting up the protective netting/tarps that resulted in no damage to the exterior of the house, to nail hunting, to the excellent roof install itself. Very professional, Master Roofers. Amazing Management and Communication
So glad I chose Batterbee; I comparison shopped. I got a fine roofing job. But what I didn't expect was how well they communicated with me...in this day and age of "We're short staffed" excuses and businesses not answering phones. They are the best company I've seen in recent years for coordinating between sales, office staff, materials procurement, project manager, and subcontractor team. My project manager, Ivan, was present on the job; he kept me informed from before arrival, through my re-roofing and through cleanup and inspection. Amazing. Just sayin'.
Finally got it done!
We signed contract in November, but due to backorder on shingles, our installation didnt occur until Feb 11th. The entire crew worked quickly and efficiently and completed the job in 2 days. Would definately recommend Batterbee to friends and neighbors!

Cannot be more pleased
Batterbees salesperson was Charles Carson who spent over an hour showing us how Batterbee operates, how they install the roof etc. He brought with him a 50 lb mock up of a roof so we could understand the "lingo". So helpful! He explained the pricing, delay in install that would occur due to slow materials delivery. Every week or so would receive an update. Roof install was scheduled, GREAT. The install with 8 crew started at 7:45 AM as storms were expected in the PM. Those 8 guys worked their butts off. Everything was neat, clean and installed. Our supervisor was Josh and can't say enough kudos for him. Installed new solar lights and repaired one. It is with pleasure and without hesitation I recommend Batterbee.

Afte wasting months dealing with an uncommunicative roofing company, a friend recommended Batterbee and we made the switch. Sales presentation deserves an award
Charles' roof inspection, descriptions of the re-roof process, your product samples, videos and photos were exceptionally educational and expertly explained. We had no idea of what all it takes to re-roof -- and to do it correctly. We sure appreciated that there was no pressure, and that Charles did such a remarkable job explaining everything that we had very few questions. BTW, I ran off another company rep when in the first words out of his mouth included 'insurance claim' - before he even walked around and then inspected the roof. I had to drag info out of another company rep, and he provided just a very minimum of information, so eliminated them. Thanks to your company for the excellent training provided to your staff.

Charles Carson spent 2 hours taking me through all the details and options for a complete roof replacement with photos of all my roof details. The office called me bi-weekly with a status report. The materials arrived 1 month ahead of the initial schedule. Matt Woods, Field supervisor, kept me appraised at each step of the stripping and installation, again with photos from the roof. Want to thank our on the job supervisor Alex, he reached out a day before to advise us as to time of arrival. He arrived at that time he said , and the remainder of the workers arrived shortly afterwards. They Started work through out the day, including the installation of 2 skylights. Work was professional and even though it took a longer part of day, they worked until completed. Alex then took us around to do a final inspection, before we finalized our transaction. We received a complete report of what was done, only thing left was a final inspection by the county. The entire process was easy , and i would recommend Batterbee Roofing to my friends or family.

Don't bother with the rest...stick to Batterbee
From the first communication with Batterbee to the finished product, everything was done with integrity, honesty and great work! Charles to Josh, could not be happier. Charles brought a mock up of a roof to explain all the Owens Corning materials and how they'd be installed. Let me add this, I've had people say "yeah it looks good, but how do you REALLY know" I've got that answer! We had a roof inspection done 3 days later and the Contractor stated the job was "well done". Josh arrived in the AM as he said he would along with two crews as it was expected to rain that afternoon. That crew worked seemlessly and very hard, a well oiled machine. Josh was on the job for most of the install as well. Just as they finished (Friday) it started to pour. Josh said he would not take the money until Tuesday when we had a chance to walk around the entire property and for him to explain if we had any questions) He showed up on time Tues and we did the walk thru, only then did I write the check.
